Sunday’s when the kids come home is a special time for me and I would like to think for the kids to. I try to have most of the ‘work’ out of the way and just have open time for them to decide how we fill it.
Noah usually asks for time to play xBox or the Wii and Hannah typically wants to watch a bit of TV. Basically 30 minutes to unwind before we decide where to go from there. Last night we ended up on our Trampoline for over an hour. It was quite a good time, but my old knees were feeling it before too long. We then quickly whipped up dinner and then headed out to the video store to pick out videos for Family movie night. We watched one movie together and started a second before the kids were ready for bed. They both slept on the living room floor. Something they have liked to do recently.
A great first evening back home. I miss them terribly by the end of the weeks that they are with their Mom. Sigh…
