On Thursday of last week, Hanah’s new Dell Mini 9 laptop arrived! The laptop was a reward for the awesome grades she had received and maintained this year. The laptop will also allow her homework projects to be done on the laptop and then more easily move between households.
It really is a cute and amazing little device…

I’ll be interested to see how that works out. Looks like a great little machine…don’t overlook the massive amount of free storage now available via skydrive.

So far it is working out really well. Hannah completed her first school paper on the laptop last night, one that she started working on last week at her Mom’s and we got shared printing to working…
XP Home file sharing and printing is a bit screwy compared to XP Pro but once we worked through that everything worked great.
I think I’ll let her settle into the new system a bit and then look to hook her up with a Sky drive in a few weeks. Thanks for the link!
