Ride Description:
Sort of the Hutchen’s Lake Loop but cut it roughly 4 miles short by turning onto 127th ave versus going out around the lake.

Thought(s) of the day: Very easy pace going out but turned it up a bit on the way home. Seemed like a lot of work for a 35 mile ride. Makes me wonder what Saturday will be like but hey… never know till you try.

Out the back of the neighborhood – 147th West to 66th. 66th South and around to Lake Island and then 64th St. 64th to Blue Star. Blue Star to 63rd. 63rd briefly south and around to 136th. 136th to 60th and 60th North back to 147th. 147th West to Home.

Ride Description: South to Saugatuck/Douglas Dead-end where the road washed out several years ago on Lakeshore Drive and then back through Saugatuck to 63rd to 136th Ave to East Saugatuck to home.

Thought(s) of the day: Fun ride tonight. The overall pace was light. It was one of those rides where we attacked each other, used Stop Ahead signs as sprint markers and pushed it a bit up the inclines.

Thought(s) of the day: Quick ride tonight. The avg speed was 18.8 when we made the turn for home and pushed a bit to get the avg above 19. It was very warm tonight and the heat really took it out of my body.

Thought(s) of the day: Good ride. It was quite chilly compared to recent rides. I wore a short sleeve jersey and felt pretty cold throughout.

Ride Description: South to Van Buren State Park (10 miles or so South of South Haven). Then headed East and then caught a nice tailwind home. 2 stops today. One in South Haven at our favorite little Party Store/Deli and one in Fennville for lunch.

Riding partners: Jim and Tina Carson joined us on their tandem for the first 20 miles and then broke off and headed back. Jim Mahaney, Mike Mordoff and Marv Hyder.

Thought(s) of the day: Was great ride. Felt generally pretty good throughout. I evne felt so good at the end that I entertained heading back out this evening for another 20 or so miles but the legs have tightened up a bit this afternoon and the air conditioning feels or so good after the long hot ride.

Thought(s) of the day: Great time today. Rubbed tires with Jim Mahaney at about the 50 mile mark and came as close to falling as I have ever come. I made a nice save if I do say so myself =)
Weather was perfect and the route was new this year, so Mahaney idea of getting a few extra miles by riding over to GR for the event meant with the new route he’ll get 140 miles today. OUCH!
