Thought(s) of the day: Generally felt good on the bike today but Jim was really tired today. Never seen him so tired on the bike. He was reduced to a mere mortal today. Beautiful weather for a ride. This ride took my mileage beyond last years total. Playing to ride as much as possible between now and the end of October, so I may end up around 1500.

Ride Description:
Joint sponsored ride between Macatawa Cycling Club and the Rapid Wheelman. Ride took off from Velo and did the usual tour around the greater Saugatuck area before heading back to the bike shop for snacks. Actually climbed the short sterep hill to Oval Beach for the first time. Not sure why we never climbed it before…

Ride Description:
Velo-City Cycle August “Fun-Raiser”. A fun ride with a group from Velo. About 14 of us set of from the Bike shop over through Overisal and Hamilton over to East Saugatuck and then took Grafscaapp back to the Bike shop. We splurged on ColdStone Creamery Ice Cream after the ride.

Thought(s) of the day: Felt better tonight than the 2 previous rides. The temp was bit lower today but muggy. It looked like rain was approaching most of the ride out but we never got wet!
