Ride Description: The famous trek North to Grand Haven and back. Only 2 incidents of Northern Friendliness were encoutnered. One very close pass next to Jim M. and one “get on the sidewalk” scream. Not bad for riding north. Those two incidents were offset by a friendly guy in Grand Haven who stopped and chatted with us at a Gas Station when we were taking a short break at roughly our half way point in the ride. Also my longest ride this year. I am riding the 100 Grand Tour tomorrow so that will be roughly another 60+ mile day as well. Hope I recover ok.
Riding partners: Jim Mahaney and Mike Mortoff.
Thought(s) of the day: Today was awesome out. I don’t think you could ask for a better day for a bike ride. Jim and Mike are very fun to ride with. Quite a few crack ups along the way.
