Ride Description: VCC Tuesday Night Road Ride – Basically the classic Sprint ride route but we turned right (South) on 64th from Lake Island Road and then basically did the rest of the East Saugatuck route back to VCC.

Notes on the day:  Felt better this evening than last despite the hotter and more humid weather.  Not sure if I will ride this evening but still plan to on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Notes on the day:  I flatted tonight.  First on the raod flat in over two years.  Nothing like changing a tube with 40 people standing around waiting on you to get it done quickly   Skip was dishing out the smack from the background and I believe he had his first “Karma” flat about 5 miles further down the road when his tire delaminated from the casing and had to call for a ride.   Jasker, Mike McKay and myself waited until we were sure Skip had a ride on the way…  The right thing to do but the main group had continued about 3-4 minutes earlier than the three of us and we foolishly tried to rejoin the group beat ourselves into the group.  We actually caught the remnants of the group near the Kzoo river on 58th street.  I had a great ride overall but had some serious acid in the upper quads when I got home.  I probably should had went out for 3-4 mile easy spin just to work the acid out but decided to meet a friend for dinner instead.

Notes on the day:  Felt like I had a 25 pund tire around my waist the entire ride.  More frustration at my lack of ability this year but when its late July and I’ve only ridden the bike 15 times… there’s no much guessing the reason for the poor performance.

I did enjoy swinging by Morty’s place after the ride and having a Diet Pepsi with him.  I wish he would ride more often this year.

I’ve been extremely as of late and failed to enter in bike rides as they occurred and then took 3+ weeks off the bike entirely and then you end up with a pile of stickie notes with no real recollection of each individual ride…  the mess below is the result.
