Ride Description: VCC – Tuesday Night Road Ride
Riding Partners: Ahh hell I don’t know.  Skip, Aaron, Kelly, Jessica, and about 40 of my closest friends.

Notes on the day:  Got home from Grand Traverse with enough time to get my clothes on and join the VCC ride.  On my way down to the shop I realized this would be my last ride before Dalmac.  With just around 750 miles in this year, I am woeful behind last years miles but my riding has been more of a mental support mechanism this year than a physical.   The ride itself was very slow going out Eats into the Wind but we kicked it up pretty good when we made the turn and finally started heading West.  We must of kicked it up a little too much as Aaron came to the front and admonished the group for not sticking to the intended ‘pace’.

All in all I feel fine for Dalmac and ready to beat up on my body for 4 days in a row.  Eat and drink everything in sight and generally forget about the real life that is the daily grind here in Holland.  Vacation here I come.

Ride Description: The MCC Monday Night ride.
Riding Partners: 35 of my closest friends

Notes on the day:  I’ve attended the MCC Monday Night rides every other week for most of the season.  Last week when I wasnt there they split the Sport group (**cough** B group) into two groups.  This week it was just announced that they would do the same this week and without stopping to Randy when with the first Sport group.  I ended pushing myself a bit but the result was a great ride where I actually felt a spring in my legs that I haven’t felt for awhile.

Notes on the day:  Great little 30 route we carved out of the North Side of Holland leaving from the West High School Parking lot on Butternut.  Felt good tonight.
